24th AprilLeft Lagos for Albufeira, to meet Nita and Steve from Dorton
27th April Albufeira to Olhao, after 2 days with Nita and Steve
28th AprilPeter and Sue arrive Olhao, and we motor out to anchorage inside Culatra Island. Swam
29th AprilUp anchor at 1900 for an overnight sail towards Cadiz
30th AprilArrived Cadiz, after unpleasant sail into easterly headwind, with short chop that disagreed with our novice stomachs
1st MayA short sail from Cadiz to anchorage at Sancti Petri, swam again
2ndMayUp at first light to leave estuary for Gibralter, arriving 1740, went out on town
3rd MayBack in Gib for a taxi tour of the sights, before leaving for P. Duquesa
4th MayDuquesa to Fuengirola, motoring most of the way.
6th MayLeft Fuengirola, towards the east, settled for Puerto Caleta de Velez. Not a brilliant billet.
7th MayCaleta to Motril, disappointing and expensive!
8th MayMotril to Almerimar. John gets hospitalised. Damn!
14th JuneReturned to UK with Jacqui and Rowan, Oscar who with Steve had helped pack Fuga up
27th JuneJohn gets quadruple bypass operation at St. Mary's Paddington
July to OctoberKeeping busy during recovery
9th NovemberArrive back on Fuga in Almerimar
16th - 20th NovemberDrive north to Altea, near Benidorm, to visit friends Carol and Roy, taking in Guadalest, Mar Menor and Cartagena on the way back
26th NovemberGetting stuck in to life in Almerimar, and the Cruisers' Net
17th DecemberReturned to the UK to spend Christmas and New Year with friends and family
14th JanuaryBack to Fuga
